Led by our resident yoga teacher, Becky Farbstein, you can expect to be invited to gently challenge yourself both physically and intellectually during the 75 minute class.
Lunch is a truly delicious feast of healthy dishes, largely using ingredients sourced from within 10 miles of the Gallivant.
- 11:00am: Arrive at the Gallivant, welcome, and register at reception. We’ll all meet in the Cabin room for herbal tea, Chef Jamie’s ‘good for you’ tonics, and healthy bites.
- 11:30am: Yoga class in the summer house, the class is 75 minutes.
- 1:00pm: We’ll take a gentle walk together in the beach to reflect on the class we’ve just taken and work up an appetite for lunch.
- 1:45pm: Our healthy 3-course lunch will be served.
- 2:30pm: Finish
Becky took her first yoga class at a local gym in 2005, shortly after moving from America to England to attend graduate school. Becky was drawn to the mental focus and clarity that yoga provides and over the past 16 years she has explored a wide range of styles as both a teacher and student of yoga.
She takes her greatest inspiration from her own teacher, Jason Crandell, with whom she completed her 500-hour advanced teacher training programme. Becky's classes are technical, anatomically precise, and focused. You can expect a strong and steady physical practice which is informed by both traditional yoga philosophy and a modern understanding of the human body.
