October 12, 2018 6:30pm - 8:30pm, October 13, 2018 2pm - 4pm
Open to women, men and non-binary identifying persons who desire to know more.
Women represent an overwhelming majority of those who practice yoga today and yet so often yoga practices must be adapted and modified to the cycles and stages of a woman’s life (think pregnancy, postpartum, menstruation, menopause).
This workshop invites you to experience a movement practice that is deeply attuned to the female body and physiology, creating experiences of ease and pleasure in your body so that you can embody greater confidence, clarity and self-connection.
Over two days (4 hours) of practice and discussion, we’ll explore how our embodied spiritual practices can include a feminine perspective that compels greater self -understanding and self-compassion for those who identify as women.
We’ll touch on topics not always given attention in modern yoga, including the role of sensuality in our practices, the effects of trauma, how to serve the expansion of our life force, and what ‘embodied feminism’ might look like.
A yoga teacher and sexuality coach, Blaire Lindsay guides women and men to heal, own and enjoy their sexuality as a force to transform their lives. With a background in yoga, the embodied arts and classical Tantra, Blaire’s online courses and classes invite full body presence and explore how we can each live our integrated radiance. Originally from the Canadian Rockies, Blaire currently lives and works in Mexico.
