Would you like to feel a little more confident in group yoga classes? Or maybe you are looking to return to your practice safely after injury or having a baby? Join our resident yoga teacher and physiotherapist, Emma Lewis, for a three-week yoga foundations course! Emma's background in physiotherapy gives her a unique knowledge of the human body and her welcoming and inclusive approach allows you to explore a safe and accessible yoga practice.

Not just for beginners, the three 75-minute sessions will guide you through key movements and postures, helping you listen in and connect the mind, breath, and body. There will be particular focus on:

  • the importance of spinal mobility and its relationship to the rest of the body;
  • establishing a solid foundation to physical postures;
  • basic modifications to support a more individualised practice.

This course is perfect for anyone building confidence with yoga, returning to practice after recovering from an injury, dealing with back pain, or simply wanting to revisit the foundations of their practice.

This is an online course and will be hosted live on Zoom over three Sunday mornings. A recording of each class will be available for 7 days to support your learning and self-practice.

Emma's classes invite you to play, explore and just be. She combines her knowledge of the human body from her background in physiotherapy with yoga principles to provide a truly accessible practice. A creation of an individual yet mutual experience with no expectations, boundaries or judgments and rooted by the mantra ‘nothing is forever’.
