Six Week Headstand Course with Chloe Faulkner

Join Chloe Faulkner for a six week course designed to teach you the fundamentals of headstand, how to build strength in the body and the key actions needed to support both Sirsasana A and B (traditional and tripod).
We will start working in headstand by the wall so that we learn how to also use it as a prop to support us. As the course continues we will review all we have already learnt and for those who are ready, move away from the wall and learn how to work in pairs to support each other. Towards the second half of the course (for those who are ready) we will work on variations of headstand e.g lifting with both legs together in a pike or with straddle legs.
During each session there will be time to ask questions and review what is needed. Everyone will be working at different levels so don’t worry if you can’t headstand yet - that’s what we’re here to learn!
These will be weekly 90 minute classes, every Tuesday, starting on February 19th and finishing on March 26th.
Please note: This course is suitable for everyone with a regular yoga practice. Not for complete beginners but you don’t need to be able to already headstand. This workshop series is not advised for anyone with a neck injury. We cannot offer refunds or credits for any missed classes.
