In support of Mental Health Awareness Week, we are so excited to have our resident teacher, Pippa Richardson, lead a very special online event on Sunday!
In line with the theme of ‘kindness’, Pippa will lead us through a nourishing 60 minute yoga practice which aims to cultivate deep kindness towards ourselves and each other. You will be guided to listen to the wisdom of your heart and body – finding a yoga practice that deeply serves you. After class, there will be an optional 15 minute guided journaling session for those who would like to reflect on the practice and the overall theme of kindness. This class is set to be the kindest way to end your week - a true gift to your heart and being!
If you are struggling with your mental health and need support right now, there are helpful resources and certified therapist directories available at www.mind.org.uk.
* If you have the means and would like to make a contribution, please consider making a donation to BEAT Eating Disorder Charity or any other mental health charity that you support.
A link to the live-streamed class will be emailed 10-minutes prior to the class start time with instructions to access the online studio on Zoom.
Pippa's classes are spacious and intuitive, allowing time for exploration and contemplation.
Her training in Hatha has influenced her focused approach to alignment, which honours the needs for different approaches for individual structures. This aims to build strength and flexibility in both body and mind, encouraging the body to return to its natural state of ease and freedom. Pippa encourages everyone to truly honour their own bodies and practice, and feel into the sensation of each pose.
