Demystifying the Core with Darren Tickle

Join Darren for this two-hour Pilates workshop designed to help you understand what the core actually is and how to activate and strengthen it. By using the key Pilates Principles and the foundation classical Pilates exercises we will learn ways to help relieve back, shoulder and neck pain and improve your posture. We will cover a range of themes:

  • What is the core
  • What is Pilates and how can it help strengthen your core
  • The 7 Principles of Pilates
  • Pilates and your yoga practice
  • Breaking down the 24 classical mat Pilates movements (beginners + intermediate)
  • New York style classical mat class to put everything into practice

By the end of this workshop you will connect more with your body, feel stronger and taller, gain more of an insight into what Pilates is and the benefits it offers in your every day life.
